These best practice guidelines have been developed through a collaboration between Swansea Bay University Health Board’s Pressure Ulcer Prevention and Intervention Service (PUPIS) and the All Wales Tissue Viability Nurse Forum (AWTVNF). They reflect the local expert consensus, as well as providing an application to Welsh NHS services.

The content of the document has been inspired by the Seating Guidelines published in the Journal of Tissue Viability (Stephens & Bartley, 2018).
