PMG Commissioning/ BPGs Membership Consultation

01 October 2019

cover

This year's PMG Conference in Telford saw the launch of the comprehensively updated best practice guideline (BPG): Transportation of People Seated in Wheelchairs. This BPG has become a nationally acknowledged resource for professionals and service users involved in this activity, and PMG is delighted to facilitate the continuing development of this document. The conference also heard the results of a membership survey on the future direction of PMG's research activity in which members indicated their top priorities for PMG funding were:

1. Commissioning good quality clinical research in the UK within themes identified by PMG

2. Developing and maintaining best practice guidelines (BPGs)

We are therefore once again seeking your views on appropriate themes and topics for future BPGs and research. If you would like to see the current PMG BPGs please refer to: www.pmguk.co.uk/resources/best-practice-guidelines-bpgs

For information about previous research funded by PMG go to:
www.pmguk.co.uk/research/pmg-funded-studies

If you're a PMG member and would like to take part in the consultation, please go to our members only page here and follow the instructions.

The deadline for responses is Friday 1st November 2019.
